Cement plaster vs ready-mix plaster
Conventional cement plaster is normally batched on site using cement, sand and water. That approach is familiar and effective when proportioning, raw-material selection and workmanship are controlled. A wet ready-mix model shifts ingredient measurement and proportioning to the producer; site crews still need to manage surface suction, joints, thickness, workability and weather.
Where VARNA RENDER fits
VARNA RENDER™ is a fresh, project-batched coloured cementitious plaster mortar, not a dry powder bag, skim coat, wall putty or paint film. It is intended for trowel application by normal plastering crews. Synthetic iron oxide pigment is incorporated into the render body to give the plaster its architectural colour.
What builders should evaluate
Ask for a physical sample panel, target finish, minimum and maximum application thickness, surface preparation, proposed logistics, wet-mix placement window and instructions for curing and weather protection. The quantity of mortar cannot be estimated responsibly from one fixed square-foot-per-kg figure because uneven walls and finish thickness vary.
Suitable project conversations
An integrated coloured plaster finish may be relevant for building elevations, schools, campuses, apartments, institutional structures and large commercial walls where the design team wants to compare the whole finishing process, rather than only the material cost of plastering.
Frequently asked questions
Is this the same as ready-mix concrete?
No. It is plastering mortar for walls, not structural ready-mix concrete.
Is VARNA RENDER delivered dry?
No. It is planned as freshly manufactured wet ready-mix for project orders.
Can standard masons apply it?
The intended method follows familiar plastering practice; an approved site mock-up and project guidance still matter.
